Raysha obtained her Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She has worked in diverse settings such as food banks, community organizations, and health centres. When working with individuals, she considers all the biological, psychological, emotional and social factors that play a role in their well-being. Raysha uses a collaborative and compassionate approach to help individuals feel their best and lead fulfilling lives aligned with their goals.
Drawing from evidence-based modalities, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and Solution-Focused Therapy, Raysha incorporates a diverse range of techniques into her practice. She also embraces anti-oppressive, strength-based, and trauma-informed approaches, ensuring that her clients receive care that respects their unique experiences and backgrounds.
