FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. IS A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL NECESSARY?
You do not require a doctor’s referral to book an appointment with our massage therapist. However, some extended insurance plans may require one to provide reimbursements. You can book an appointment with one of our in-hour physicians to obtain a note if you do not have a family doctor.
2. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR DURING MY MASSAGE APPOINTMENT?
You will be asked to disrobe prior to your treatment. Our Massage therapists are trained in draping procedures that respect a client’s privacy, and will keep the client’s body continually covered with a sheet, uncovering only the part that needs to be worked on. You are more than welcome to wear shorts during your massage if you would be more comfortable.
3. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A MASSAGE?
Depending on your pain and physical needs, one massage per month is the recommended frequency. Our massage therapist also provides customized treatment plans depending on your discomfort and physical demands.
