We're Hiring:

As a Registered Nurse, you will offer vital community health relief support, adhering to the Government of Ontario’s guidelines. Your role will involve a broad scope of practice, from prenatal care, trauma, and primary healthcare services.

Assignment Duration:

Assignment duration range from 2 – 3 weeks with possibility of extension.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3,000 hours of experience over the past five years in remote or critical care settings
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a valid College Of Nurses Of Ontario (CNO) license
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (must be within 12 months)
  • A valid “G” driver’s license
  • Completion of specific online courses and training

Priority will be given to candidates with:

  • CPR/BLS Certification (Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada/American Heart Association)
  • PALS Certification (Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada/American Heart Association)
  • ACLS Certification (Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada/American Heart Association)
  • ITLS Certification
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Communicable Disease Control and Immunization (ISC Immunization and Communicable diseases modules via iTacit)
  • Completion of Controlled Substances Course
  • TDG Certification
  • Privacy Training
  • Indigenous Cultural Competency
  • Completed Security Clearance with fingerprints

Position Details:

  • Collaborate with physicians and facility Charge Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare services that include, but are not limited to, primary care, trauma care, prenatal care, obstetrics, treatment of acute injuries and illnesses and working in general treatment clinics.
  • Adhering to the care plan, application of the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, observe, and educate.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, assessment skills, therapeutic communication techniques and excellent interpersonal skills to tackle challenging situations objectively utilizing evidence-based practice.
  • Maintaining privacy and confidentiality in accordance with the Personal Health Information Act (PHIPA)
  • Strict adherence to Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) protocols.
  • Adherence to Integra’s Policies and Procedures
